HEAVY CONCUSSION
Heavy Concussion is an electrically-detonated binary explosive for the special effects industry that produces a loud report, white smoke cloud, and powerful blast. Using commonly-available igniters, pyrotechnicians can now produce concussive effects without requiring the use of expensive and highly regulated commercial high explosives, and much more safely than using black or flash powders. Heavy Concussion is perfect for use in film and television special effects, air shows and re-enactment events to simulate ground explosions and bomb hits, law enforcement and military training to simulate IEDs, grenade blasts, or other ordnance, and other outdoor events requiring a loud, powerful, and concussive explosive effect.

This product is intended for use by licensed and trained professionals only and is not available to the general public. Canadian purchasers will be required to provide a copy of either their Explosives Magazine License, Fireworks Operator Certificate – Senior Pyrotechnician, or Fireworks Operator Certificate – Special Effects Pyrotechnician. U.S. purchasers will be required to provide us their state certification to use pyrotechnics and a copy of their ATFE Federal Explosives License.
Familiarization testing is strongly recommended before live use. Product will only detonate when initiated by an approved igniter (contact us for a list of approved igniters). Do not use with electric matches or fuse. For outdoor use only. Contact us for guidance prior to use if necessary.
